. The goal of the survey is to reveal and prioritize the most effective drivers, external and organic growth and for boosting shareholder value.
The survey targets companies of all industries. Any company (or business unit with relevant size) with both external and organic growth strategies is invited to participate in the survey.
In November of this year, we will host conferences for all survey participants on national level where we will recognize companies that outperform their competitors with outstanding growth and stock price results as well as highly effective growth tools and techniques. A jury of professionals from industry, press and consulting will nominate the best organic grower, the best external grower and the best balanced grower of the year. Leading companies will be selected on a global basis, as well as according to industry, country and company size. An exclusive club of award winners ensures the leverage of know-how among the top-growth performers.
Each participating company will receive an exclusive report on the most effective drivers, techniques and procedures to achieve external and organic growth. They will also receive a strictly confidential company-benchmarking analysis of their position against the global and industry averages, and best performers. This will also include tailored recommendations for tapping into the company’s most promising areas of improvement.

The survey is developed from our experience in working with more than 600 A.T. Kearney clients on growth issues from around the world. It also draws on the proven approaches of Merger Endgames and Value-Building Growth, as well as latest developments.
The survey is divided into three sections:
- Overall growth trajectory: Historic and expected future growth performance
- External growth: External growth drivers and critical factors
- Organic growth: Short-term growth strategies, ability to remove growth bottlenecks, sales and marketing excellence, and strategy stretches
